Anita (Willis) Lewis

Anita Willis Lewis, 79, Smyrna, died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Carteret General Hospital.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday at Smyrna United Methodist Church with Rev. Karen Howell officiating, and the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Bell Cemetery.
Anita was a member of Smyrna United Methodist Church, and a member of the choir (and was the only choir member). She loved her church, and church family. Some of her passions were music, playing the piano, reading, and traveling after she retired.
She is survived by a daughter Cynthia Dawn Lewis and husband Jonathan of Tigard, OR; two sons Steve Smith and wife Greta of Smyrna, NC, and Harry Grey Smith and wife Kimberly of Swansboro, NC; four grandchildren, Harrison Smith, Jacob Smith and wife Jennifer, Melissa Craver, and Erin Craver and husband Todd; and two great grandchildren, Isaak Smith, and Micah Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents Harry Lane Willis and Selma Davis Willis.
