Anita Duncan

Anita Marilyn Duncan, 81, of Newport, beloved wife and mother, died Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Carteret General Hospital.

Services were held at Gethsemane Memorial Park with Rev. Terry McInnis officiating.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Warren R. Duncan; four children, Robinson and Barbara Duncan, Arnold and Beverly Duncan, Deborah and Mike Golden, and Marilyn and Mike Huckaby; four grandchildren, Scotty Duncan, Michael Huckaby, Jr., MIichael and Heather Golden, Velvet and Derek Harvey; five great grandchildren, Alexis Morris, Hannah Morris, Sabrina Duncan, Naomi Huckaby and Corbin Huckaby; three brothers, William Matthews, Jr., Timothy Matthews, Paul Matthews and two sisters, Delores Williams and Martha Flick.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Doris Matthews, one brother and four sisters.
