Anita Paula (Koerner) Adler

Anita Koerner Adler, 82, of Pine Knoll Shores, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at her home surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at St. Egbert's Catholic Church with Rev. Thomas Davis officiating.
Anita lived in Connecticut for over 40 years where she was an active member of the community, including being President of the Somers Women's Club, a member of the Johnson Memorial Hospital Board, and an aerobics instructor. She continued her charitable involvement while living at Pine Knoll Shores by volunteering at Carteret General Hospital.
She is survived by her husband John Adler of Pine Knoll Shores; four sons John Adler, Jr., M.D. and wife Marilyn of California, Brian Adler,M.D. and wife Karen of Alabama, Ralph Adler, Ph.D. and wife Sharon of New Zealand, and Paul Adler, J.D. and wife Lori of Rhode Island;and eleven grandchildren Trip, Brittany, Peter, Scott, James, Timothy, Samuel, Keith, Paul, Griffin, and Cecily.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Suffield Academy Scholarship Fund 185 North Main Str. Suffield, CT 06078.
