Angeles Calogcog Patton

Angeles “Lily” Calogcog Patton, 80, of New Bern, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at her home in the Philippines.

A funeral service to honor Lily’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 6^th at Munden Funeral Home in Havelock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The graveside service will follow at 12 p.m., at the Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville. For those unable to attend, the service can be viewed through her obituary page on Munden Funeral Home’s website. The service will remain on the Funeral Home website for 90 days.

Lily was born on August 2, 1943, in Agay-Ay, San Jose, Southern Leyte, Philippines, to the late Francisca Calogcog. She was a devout Catholic, finding strength and solace in her faith throughout her life. Lily was known for her kindness, generosity, and selflessness. Her family was her everything. She was a loving wife of over 53 years and left behind a beautiful family that she loved and cherished. Lily valued the time she spent with her loved ones and adored being a grandmother and great-grandmother. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.

Those left to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Paul Patton of the home; sons, Jon Paul Patton Sr. of San Marcos, California, Jonathan Gil Patton of Guam, Joshua Samuel Patton of Sicily; daughters, Marivic Creighton-Bey of Anchorage, Alaska, Gracesalis Patton of Grove City, Ohio, Jerlita Daughtry (Roy) of Chesterfield, Virginia; grandchildren, Paul Anthony Patton, Nia Monet Herrera (Franky), Rhea Monet Ingham (Kyle), Keilah Daughtry, Rajah Daughtry, Jon Paul Patton Jr., Jacob Alexander Patton, Marquan Reynolds, Shane Daughtry, Markhi Reynolds, Jazmin Victoria Patton, and Vengie Tillo Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Gunner Sanford, Tate Ingham, Raphael Patton, and Freya Herrera.
