Angela "Angie" Marie Vail

Angela “Angie” Marie Vail, 45 of Newport, passed away March 31, 2018 at Carteret Health Care.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Conner officiating.

Angie graduated from West Carteret High School Class of 1991. She lived her entire adult life in Newport. She previously worked in management with Block Buster Video, and more recently in banking with both Wachovia and Wells Fargo. She was a coach with Babe Ruth Softball in Newport. A believer that was vocal about her faith. She was a loving daughter and mother.

She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Buck of Arkansas and Gabrielle Gariba of Greensboro; parents, Kerry and Susan “Sue” Vail of Camden, SC; brother, Kerry “Joey” Vail, Jr. and partner, Michael, of Philadelphia, PA; maternal grandmother, Natalie Botting of Columbia, SC; boyfriend, Paul Morrow of Jacksonville, FL; also many loving aunt, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Clarence Dunlap; paternal grandmother, Thelma Waisanen; and paternal grandfather, Dayton Vail.
