Andrew "Jackie" Jackson Stowe, 77, of Newport, died Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Crystal Coast Hospice House.
The family will hold a graveside service 11:00 am Wednesday at Amariah Garner Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Linebarger officiating.
He is survived by a brother James Altman of LaGrange, NC; a grandson Drew Piner and wife Samantha of Newport, NC; granddaughter Sela Piner of Newport; and great granddaughter Sarah Ann Piner of Newport,NC.
He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Jackson, Jr and Edna Mae Stowe, and a daughte Shellie Piner.
In lieu of flowers memorial cards may be made to the family at 200 Sheppard Cruse Dr. Newport, NC 28570.
