Andrew B. Steffens, 60 of Sarasota, FL, died Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Carteret General Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at St. Andrew Episcopal Church with Rev. John Pollock officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Christ Episcopal Church of Bradenton.
Andrew served in management in various careers; Hotel and Restaurant management for Shamrock International to provide fine dining, for National Health Insurance Company, and for Pestguard Commercial Services. He was very generous and loving; a counselor and advisor to many people, while offering help and advice to all. He also loved skiing and the outdoors.
He is survived by his wife Eileen Phillips-Steffens of Florida; a son Duane Kenneth Phillips and wife Krystal of Cedar Point; and two grandchildren Oscar and Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Julia Steffens.
