Amy Rogers

Amy Rogers, 64, of Havelock, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Carolina East Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring Amy will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 1st, at The Lighthouse Assembly of God in Havelock, officiated by Rev. Kenneth J. McCoy. 

Amy was born on March 21, 1960, in Grove City, Pennsylvania, to the late Louis and Jean Adam. A devoted member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God, Amy dedicated her life to her faith and family. For 34 beautiful years, she shared her life with her loving husband, Everett, cherishing every moment they spent together. She relished her role as a mother and grandmother to her precious children and grandchild.

Amy loved being near the ocean, which brought her peace and relaxation. She enjoyed playing horseshoes and spending time with her beloved dogs. Amy enjoyed attending Bible studies, learning the Word of God, and growing closer to her Lord and Savior. Her unwavering faith was a guiding light to all who knew her. Amy will forever live on in the hearts of her family, and all the lives she touched along the way.

Those left to treasure her memory are her loving husband, Everett D. Rogers of the home; daughter, Melissa Kay Murrell (Ashton) of Newport, NC; son, Matthew Joseph Bauer (Chandler) of Charleston, SC; sisters, Teresa Johnston (Eddie) of Yuma, AZ and Beth Tutt (Rick) of Colorado; grandson, Graham Bauer; favorite dogs, Lucy, Ricky, and Ethel; and her grand-dogs, Kobe, Nova, Zeus, and Apollo.

In addition to her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her brother, Louis Adam.
