Alvin “Jerry” Gerald Phillips, 70, of Havelock, passed away October 30, 2015 at his home.
A memorial service with military honors will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Manley Rose, Jr. officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Leda Phillips of the home; two daughters, Candy Reynolds of Georgia and Gerry Lynn Phillips of the home; son, Donald Gerald Phillips and significant other Cynthia Lowe of Durham; two sisters, Lillie Edwards of Florida and Nettie Hoyle of Newport; six grandchildren, Damion Phillips, Kyra Phillips, Ashley Reynolds, Chelsie Pilici, Stephen Phillips, and Samantha Bell; and seven greatgrandchildren, Reagan Phillips, Donovin Phillips, Connor Devlin Bell, Seamus Phillips, Sydney Phillips, Ariana Pilici, and Donik Pilici.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie Phillips and Christine Lane.
