Allison Lee Day, 75, of Smyrna, died Thursday June 14, 2012, at his home.

Mr. Day retired from the USCG after 24 years of service.
He is survived by daughters Jackie Sanders and husband Pete of Smyrna, and Sandy Brown and husband Charles of Straits, sons Mike Day of Sulfolk, VA and David Day of Marshallberg: five grandchildren: 7 great grandchildren: and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Willis Day and parents Henry and Sare Day.
