Allan Joseph Brown, 84, passed away on September 1, 2018 at Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester, IN., following a long battle with brain cancer.
Allan and his wife, Sharon enjoyed their winter home in Cape Carteret, North Carolina for many years spending time with family and friends.
Allan is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sharon whom he married in 1973; two daughters, Lynn Burnside of Margate, Florida and Dee Ann Calloway (husband, Jim) of Murray, Kentucky; three step-daughters, Deborah Madler (husband, Ken) of Farmland, Indiana, Teresa Decker (husband, Bob) of Newport, North Carolina and Mona McFerran (husband Nick) of Newport, North Carolina; two brothers, Everett Jr. “Bud” Brown (wife Mary) in Tucson, Arizona and George Brown (wife, Nancy) in Renton Washington; 10 grandchildren, Stacy Niedert (husband, Bryan), Leah Schroeder, Angela Snyder (husband, Matt:), Kevin Brown (wife, Jennifer), April Kepner (husband, Brandon), CJ Buckles (wife, Kacey), Jennifer Knox (husband, Jordan), Amanda Vappard (husband, Tony), Carrie Brown, David Brown; 12 step grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 15 step great-grandchildren and 10 step great-great-grandchildren.
Calling will be at MJS Mortuaries - Farmland Chapel, Farmland, Indiana on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 4 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the funeral on Thursday from 10-11 AM.
Services will be on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Countryside Christian Church on 100 South in Winchester, IN. Burial will follow at 3PM.
