Alisha Kelly

Alisha Kelly, 23, of Havelock, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at ECU Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life Service will be planned at a later date.

Alisha was born on October 8, 2000, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina to Michael Kelly and Heather Walton. She was a free spirit, unafraid to dance to the beat of her own drum. Alisha’s sense of humor brought joy to those around her, and her bravery in facing life’s challenges was inspiring. She loved writing and expressing herself through the power of words.

Music was her constant companion whether she was listening to her favorite artists or playing instruments particularly the clarinet.   In her short time with us, Alisha taught us the importance of living fearlessly, and embracing every moment with open arms.  Her spirit will resonate with us in the laughter, music and love she shared.

Those left to treasure her memory are her father, Michael Kelly Jr. (Jenny) of Havelock; mother, Nichole Walton (Nicky) of Cedar Island; daughter, Serenity Kelly of the home; sisters, Lanay Goodwyn of Havelock, Raven Walton of Cedar Island; and brother, Devin Kelly of Havelock.
