Alice M. Willis

Alice M. Willis, 87, of Otway, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at her home.

The family will celebrate her life privately.

Alice was born in Cape May, New Jersey, on April 7, 1934, to the late William and Constance Kalesse. Being a mother and homemaker was a joy to Alice, she loved being around her family and friends and valued quality time spent with them. Not afraid to tackle new adventures, Alice was a truck driver and worked as an EMT with Otway Fire and Rescue. She loved shopping and was always happy to find a good deal. Spending time on the water and throwing the cast net were certainly happy times for her.

She is survived by her children, David Michael Willis and girlfriend Lori of Otway, Carl Robert Willis of Bettie, and Joanie Glover “Baby Sis” of Havelock; sister, Constance Elizabeth Boehm of Sun City, FL; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Willis Jr. and son, William T. Willis Sr.
