Alice Elizabeth Phillips

Alice Elizabeth Phillips, of Morehead City, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Carolina East Medical Center.

Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 4th at Munden Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor John Carswell.

Alice was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina to the late James and Effie Reece. In 1972, she married Robert “Bob” Phillips. In 1990, they moved to Carteret County where Alice worked for Econo Lodge until her retirement. One of her favorite pastimes included surf fishing where she appreciated the beauty of the coast and the joy of the catch.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” L. Phillips Jr.; son, Donald R. Keyes Jr. and wife Jacqueline of Salisbury, Maryland; and 2 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Keyes.
