Alfred Earl Ebron, Sr.

Alfred Earl Ebron, Sr., 77, of Morehead City, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Munden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Mr. Ebron was employed with Civil Service at Cherry Point for 30 years, and Fry Roofing Company for 14 years. He loved to do yardwork and go fishing. He was well beloved by his family and a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 57 1/2 years Christeen Ebron of the home; son, Alfred Ebron, Jr. and wife Roxanne of West Virginia;one grandchild, Monica Rae Williams and husband Tyler of Cary; two sisters, Marie Pollard of Newport, and Shirley Taylor of Wildwood; and son-in-law, Edward McLawhorn of Morehead City.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie D. Ebron McLawhorn, sister, Sybil Cottle, brother, John I. Ebron, and parents, Nathaniel S. Ebron and Ella May Boyce Ebron.
The family will receive friends 6:00 - 7:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
