Alfred Certeza

Alfred Certeza, 52, of Newport, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Carteret Health Care.

His funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 12, at All Saints Anglican Church in Newport, officiated by Rev. Dave Linka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.

Alfred was born on New Year’s Day, January 1, 1970, on the beautiful Western Pacific Island of Guam. He will be cherished as a loving husband of 31 years, a supportive father, and proud grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine Certeza; sons, Kianou-Li Acfalle and wife Summer of Newport, Keith-Garrett Certeza of Pennsylvania, Kielan-Gerrick Certeza of Tennessee, Kietel-Layton Certeza of Newport, and Kievin-Al Certeza of Newport; reared daughter, Jaylene Acfalle of Newport; mother, Leilani Toves and husband George of Guam; father, Galo Certeza and wife Rose Martinez-Certeza of Guam; brothers, Anthony Certeza and wife Stefanie, and Michael Certeza and wife Jessica, all of Tennessee; grandchildren, Ezra Certeza and Amaya Senegal; and his furry canine friends, Kobe and Karley.
