Adam William Preast, 21, of Newport, died Wednesday November 2.
There will be a family service at 3:00pm by the Newport River off Heather Lane.
He is survived by his father Damon Preast of the home and mother Denise Dant Preast of Newport: two sisters Michelle Preast and Laura Preast of Newport: paternal grandmother Hazel Preast of Goldsboro, maternal grandmother Thelma Bee of New Jersey: three aunts Sue Augustus of Alaska, Bonnie Couylu of New Bern, and Charlene Clarkson of Goldsboro: three uncles Marvin Preast of Florida, Leslie Dant of Goldsboro, and Daniel Dant of Colorado: two nephews Ebin and Tyler Dilbeck both of Newport.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alliance for the Mentally Ill Coastal Division c/o Carole Robinson PO Box 301 Morehead City,NC 28557.
